A Journey of collaboration and expansion
Global Seas was born out of an alliance between Abaco Contadores Argentina and Mitra Consultores Uruguay, two firms with over 30 and 15 years of experience respectively.
In the year 2019, Santiago Ané, partner at Abaco Contadores, and Javier Dominguez Raggio, partner at Mitra Consultores SAS, began to make the first collaborative exchanges and provide joint advisory services to global clients.
The beginning of a shared vision
In 2021, the alliance was consolidated, as the international client base expanded and the partners from both countries held their first in-person meetings. Everyone was pleasantly surprised by the similarity in organizational values and the shared vision.These meetings, growing in frequency, not only focused on advising new and existing clients but also on designing a global network of services capable of meeting the exponential demands from SMEs and companies needing these services.
Methodology and Best Practices: The Pillars of Success
The work methodology was designed and a wide range of best practices were implemented in both firms. The challenging task of harmonizing technologies, management softwares, servers, automated alert notifications to clients, image and brand updates, as well as anti-money laundering software and robotic processes, was undertaken with determination.
International Expansion: A dream come true
As the firms expanded, new others joined us in the United States, Paraguay and Spain. A network of collaborative firms settled in Chile, Brazil and Mexico, among others, was also developed. By the end of 2023, having worked more than a year and a half together and after four and a half months of meetings aimed at enhancing efficiency, performance and client service, the company procedures of both firms were successfully harmonized.
The birth of GlobalSeas
In 2024, GlobalSeas network is officially established, adding more firms and global clients. This marks the beginning of a new era of collaboration and excellence in international accounting and financial advisory services. As such, GlobalSeas stands as a clear example of the power of collaboration and a shared vision to transform and expand horizons in the field of accounting and financial advisory worldwide.
